About You

We're looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded resource professional who can turn workforce data into meaningful insights and support business-critical resourcing decisions.

You will bring: Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, reporting, dashboard creation, data validation and analysis of large datasets. Proven experience analysing workforce, resource, recruitment or operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to understand how resource decisions impact business performance, delivery and cost. Experience supporting workforce planning, resource management, headcount control or recruitment activities within a fast-paced environment.

Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate workforce and organisational data. Confidence working with senior stakeholders, challenging where appropriate and influencing decision-making through data and insight.

Experience producing management information, workforce reports and resource forecasts for leadership teams. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, approvals and deadlines simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.

Experience using workforce planning, recruitment or resource management systems would be advantageous. Essential

Requirements

Candidates are unlikely to be successful without: Previous experience in workforce planning, resource management, recruitment analytics, capacity planning or similar resource-focused roles. Experience working with large and complex datasets. Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.

Experience producing reports and insights for senior stakeholders. Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have Experience using SmartCore or similar workforce planning tools.

Experience within infrastructure, engineering, transport, professional services, public sector or project-based environments. Knowledge of resource forecasting, utilisation reporting and demand planning. Experience creating dashboards using Power BI or similar reporting tools.
