Team Manager - Supported Internships - Hackney & Redbridge (Fridays)

Purpose

To oversee the successful delivery of Supported Internships across a designated geographical area. Ensure that the Supported Internship and In Work mentoring team is effectively managed and able to achieve high performance against KPIs and quality of services delivered to young people. Support the Supported Internship Management team. Deliver the role of Supported Internship tutor or job coach where required and support the wider development of the Shaw Trust Group (STG) supported internships across the UK including remote deliver.

Essential:

You will have:

L3 (minimum) Education and Training Award One of at least L4 in Guidance or Advice and Guidance* L4 Employability qualification L4 equivalent qualification relating to working with young people and supporting them to progress (life coach, mentor, Youth worker etc) Prepared to undertake and meets the requirements for any additional qualifications

Experience of managing same or similar programmes and a manager who brings the best out in those they are responsible for Experience, understanding and empathy with the lives of young people

Be able to display an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults. Ability to engage with young people and work collaboratively with them to design effective coaching and mentoring support.

This role would be part time of 7.5 hours on Fridays
