Our team is seeking an experienced Customer Service Assistant to support our NHS Talking Therapies service in Kent. This role suits someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week on a fixed term basis until 14/10/2027. The salary for this position is £26,250 per annum. This role is remote and will be worked from home - please note you must be based in the UK for this position.

Job Description

Kent & Medway NHS Talking Therapies is delivered as a partnership between WithYou and Vita Health Group. This busy service supports clients from 8am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 8-5pm Fridays.

The admin team work as "one team" to deliver a quality service to our many clients, staff and stakeholders. This includes working across multiple platforms and databases, active availability for calls during working hours and high quality multitasking. The hours of work will include 2 x evening shifts (5-8pm) per week

In this role you will act as a first point of contact for clients to ensure that they are able to access appropriate services and treatment efficiently and promptly. You will provide high quality customer service to every client and external stakeholder who makes contact with the service.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals. You will be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, and be able to manage your time effectively. You will work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure a high-quality service is maintained. Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate about what we do and has a positive and engaging approach to our clients and key stakeholders.

To do this job successfully, you will need:

• Good communication and IT skills written and oral - quick learner with affinity for multiple systems and responsive to change
• Great customer service skills, experience of providing efficient and reliable customer service with professionalism
• Organised, methodical and analytical: excellent planning and time management skills, able to manage competing/conflicting demands (multitasking) and complete tasks to a high standard (eye for detail)
• Great team working skills, a can-do attitude: flexible and resilient in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Commitment to the organisation's Guiding Principles and Behaviours and awareness of Safeguarding

If you have worked in a charitable organisation before and/or have knowledge or experience of our client group, that would be an advantage but not essential.
