This is a rare opportunity to join a small, supportive and specialist Child Death Review team covering Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham. Your administrative skills will directly support statutory child death review processes, partnership working and learning that helps improve outcomes for children, families and communities.
We are looking for someone who can provide high-quality administrative support in a sensitive multi-agency environment. You do not need previous experience in Child Death Review — if you bring strong administrative skills, sound judgement, discretion and a willingness to learn, we would encourage you to apply.
You will be proactive, methodical and able to work both independently and as part of a team. As Child Death Review Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and timely running of the child death review process. You will maintain accurate records on eCDOP, monitor case progress, coordinate time-critical meetings, request and collate information from partner agencies, prepare and circulate papers, take clear minutes, maintain action logs and handle sensitive information with care.
You will work closely with health, social care, police, education, public health and safeguarding partners to ensure information is accurate, timely and shared appropriately. You will also support the preparation of reports, data summaries and learning materials for CDOP, helping the team identify themes, trends and areas for improvement.

Manage and update the eCDOP system, ensuring accurate data entry, timely reporting, case tracking and appropriate follow-up of outstanding information requests
Coordinate and provide administrative support for:
- Joint Agency Response (JAR) meetings within statutory timeframes
- Child Death Review Meetings (CDRM) and liaise with CDRM administrators
- Child Death Overview Panel (CDOP) meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and document distribution
Liaise with multi-agency partners (health, social care, police, education, public health) to ensure effective communication and timely information sharing
Prepare and distribute sensitive correspondence to bereaved families with empathy and discretion
