- The Queen’s Park Community Council (QPCC) has an exciting opportunity for the right person to support a
- community-led statutory body and gain administrative and local governance experience as a valued member
- of our small team. Are you well organised and computer literate with excellent attention to detail? If so, why
- not join us on our mission to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life in one of London’s more
economically marginalised communities?
As an Administrative Assistant you will play an integral role in our dynamic London office with responsibilities
that include:
- Supporting financial management through collating, reconciling and coding invoices and receipts
- Taking, correcting and collating minutes from a range of meetings
- Drafting emails, blogs and articles
- Organising office storage
- Procuring office and event suppliers, equipment and other resources
- Supporting with promotional activities
- Providing general administrative and logistic support
As a member of our volunteer team, you’ll also have:

- Time Commitment and Location
- As an Administrative Assistant Volunteer, you will be asked to commit to supporting the team at least 1 day per
- week at our office in the Beethoven Centre, Queen’s Park. All our events and activities are local to the Queen’s
Park area and are within a 15 minute walk from our office.
- Expenses
- QPCC recognise the importance that volunteers are not left out of pocket and has a comprehensive expense
- policy to ensure you are never out of pocket when volunteering. This includes covering travel costs and lunch
