The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND at our wonderful setting of Tibberton CE Primary School.
We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Key Responsibilities:
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENDCo, and external agencies.
Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant staff.
Support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils at all times.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Have experience of working with children with SEND, either in a school or similar setting.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
Have a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
Be committed to inclusion and ensuring the best outcomes for all children.
Be able to work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
