About the role

Our client, a highly regarded Investment firm with circa $80l of AUM has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Trade & Reporting professional to join their growing Client Operations team based in London. You will play a key role in driving trade settlement and reconciliations activity and client reporting processes, working closely with client teams and acting as a primary point of escalation.

  • Understand our clients and their portfolios, supporting client teams in managing relationships and ensuring efficient, accurate and risk-free operations processes to contribute to the overall Client Experience.
  • Prepare and review performance reports, accurately and on time as part of the annual reporting cycle.
  • Reports include monthly flashes and quarterly client performance statements, annual client tax reports, client invoice calculations in line with client fee agreements, annual costs & charges reports and additional bespoke and ad hoc reports to support client meeting materials.
  • Investigate reporting errors or issues as identified by the internal system’s automated checks, data validations or by other reviewers.
  • Support client teams with consolidated reporting for new and existing clients covering bespoke, legacy and client onboarding solutions; analysing and streamlining this process where possible.

Settlement & Reconciliations Activity

  • Proactively monitor trade settlements and reconciliations across investments including mutual funds, daily dealing funds, hedge funds, private equity and cash; adhering to Partners Capital trade settlement policy and procedures.
  • Be responsible for ensuring all information security processes, policies and procedures are adhered to and any issues or concerns are raised with the Cyber Security team.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local data protection regulations and privacy controls, and any related issues are raised via the appropriate channels.

Team Oversight and Development

  • Assist with the management and development of junior team members who will support the candidate in their range of responsibilities.
  • Oversee team deadlines to ensure deliverables are completed with KPIs tracked and met.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve reporting quality and efficiency.
  • Act as a primary escalation point for client teams on operational enquiries and day-to-day client responsibilities.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience within Investment Operations within and Asset management business.
  • Proven experience leading client reporting initiatives and team management is preferred.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage and prioritise daily workloads to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Self-starter with a solution driven mindset and team player ethos.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative, problem solver, analytical.
