Early Years Teaching Assistant

Fixed term until 31.8.27, Part time 19 hours per week working Monday and Tuesday 8.45am to 12noon; Wednesday and Thursday 8.45am to 11.45am, Friday – 8.45am to 3.15pm

Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 6 – 7) £26,847 - £27,274 per annum pro rata

Actual salary: £11,910.95 - £12,100.39 per annum

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the teacher in adapting planning and resources to meet the individual needs of a pupil with an EHCP
  • Provide learning support to pupils
  • Support the intimate care needs and personal needs of pupils in Early Years
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of pupils
  • Liaise effectively and professionally with parents and carers
  • Support the ethos of the school and Early Years department
