About the role

The Charity of William Hobbayne, based at the heart of Hanwell in West London, is looking to expand the team and we are looking for people who are motivated by purpose, are comfortable getting things done in a small organisation, and would be proud to be part of something that has genuinely mattered to our community for centuries.

We are looking for a Clerk to support the governance of the charity – the role requires an organised, detail-focused professional to provide vital governance support to our Trustee Board.

We are also looking for a compassionate and organised Grants Officer to support individuals, families and community organisations to access vital funding and support.

These roles are both part time ( 8 hours a week) and we would happily consider applications for both roles – we want to find the right people (or person) and we are very open to being flexible and creative. The role (s) have potential for development, depending on need and role holder interest, and the job descriptions shouldn’t be read as exhaustive. We are a small, busy charity and roles naturally flex over time — we will work with the postholder to agree any changes as they arise. The salary is pro rata.

Why join us?

You'll be part of a small but ambitious charity making a real difference in the local community. You'll work alongside dedicated trustees, staff and volunteers who value teamwork, integrity and practical action.

If these roles sound interesting, we would love to hear from you. Further information and details of how to apply can be found here: https://www.williamhobbaynecharity.co.uk/currentvacancies
