Cemeteries and Crematorium Operative

We have an exciting role on offer within our Bereavement Services as a Cemeteries and Crematorium Operative.

We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Cemeteries and Crematorium Operative to join Middlesbrough Council's Bereavement Services team.

This varied and rewarding role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality services and maintaining standards in a sensitive and customer-focused environment.

Working as part of a professional team, you will support the delivery of burial and cremation services while helping to ensure our cemeteries and crematorium are maintained to the highest standards.

The successful candidate will be flexible, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team. You will have practical experience in a relevant area of work, a commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to deal sensitively with bereaved families and visitors.

You'll have the opportunity to develop specialist skills, contribute to an essential community service and make a meaningful difference to the people of Middlesbrough.
