About the role

Job DescriptionCarry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities incorporating winter gritting and work of an emergency nature that support the wider work programmes and operations undertaken by Ayrshire Roads Alliance, in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.RequirementsEast Ayrshire Council is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from all members of the community. The post is based at Gauchalland Roads Depot, Galston, Ayrshire

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.00pm and Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm

The salary for this post is £29,533 - £30,919.
