Local Academy Councillors at Valley Road Academy, which is part of the IRIS Learning Trust, are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with our children. The ideal candidate must already have experience as a Teaching Assistant, and have a qualification in teaching and learning to at least NVQ Level 2 or equivalent.
The successful applicant must be an outstanding, caring and effective practitioner with high expectations for all children and themselves. Recent experience of upper key stage 2 curriculum and an understanding of end of key stage 2 statutory assessment.
The ideal candidate must have a commitment to their own professional development and the best interests of the academy in mind at all times.
