Teaching Assistant (SEN) at St Paul’s Church of England (A) Primary School in Wolverhampton, West Midlands

About the role

32.5 hours per week. Working: 8.30am to 3.30pm or 2 x part-time roles, 8.30am to 12.30pm (20 hours) and 12.30 to 3.30pm (15 hours). Required for Monday 2 November, 2026 (or sooner if possible). 

The Headteacher and Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational, inclusive and encouraging Level 3 Teaching Assistant(s) to support children in our Lighthouse provision. The Lighthouse offers children with more complex needs, an adapted approach to learning to ensure they are given every opportunity to flourish; academically, emotionally and socially. You will be welcomed into a friendly and supportive teaching team in a wonderful school with an exciting vision for the future. 

The post will involve:

  • providing appropriate support and challenge for pupils with SEN to support their learning and progress 
  • having the initiative to work effectively and support pupils in a range of contexts
  • having the skills and knowledge to be deployed across the school, from Early Years to Year 6
  • working effectively within a teaching team to bring about the best outcomes in every way for children
