As a result of our continued growth and ongoing success, we are seeking a dynamic Digital Trading Executive to be based at our London Great Portland Street Office.

About the Role:

We are looking for a commercially focused individual to support the day-to-day Trading and Merchandising execution across our Ecommerce websites, contributing to the continuous improvement of the digital customer experience. You will be responsible for the execution of Trading & Merchandising initiatives to support core Ecommerce KPIs including sales, margin, CVR, AOV and availability. Working closely with the wider Digital Marketing and Buying teams, you will use data to identify opportunities and deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience. Supporting the Digital Trader & Merchandisers, this hands-on role is suited to someone with Commercial awareness, strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced Ecommerce environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor sales, revenue, conversion, traffic, average order value and other key trading KPIs.
  • Execute online product merchandising, including product placement, categorisation, sorting and promotional visibility to support a seamless customer journey
  • Support in ensuring products, pricing, imagery, descriptions, sort orders and stock availability are accurate and up to date with allocated categories
  • Support the execution and optimisation of promotional campaigns, product launches and seasonal trading activity.
  • Work with Buying and Merchandising teams to ensure key products and commercial priorities are effectively executed online.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to align on execution of trading activity with digital campaigns, CRM, paid media and social activity.
  • Supporting in Homepage execution and onsite page builds, working with external suppliers and design teams
  • Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to identify trends and trading opportunities across range, product, pricing, Megamenu and promotions
  • Use web analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance and make data-led recommendations.
  • Support A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation initiatives where required
  • Execution of agreed SEO initiatives
  • Produce regular trading reports and performance updates for key stakeholders.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in e-commerce or digital trading, preferably within a fast-paced retail environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of core e-commerce trading principles.
  • Confident with analysing data, BI reporting tools, Microsoft Office, Google sheets and the ability to analyse data effectively
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 is desirable
  • Experience using e-commerce platforms and CMS tools.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team as well as individually, with strong organisation and time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • A customer-focused and commercially driven mindset.
  • Familiarity with SEO and Paid Channels

Position: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:45am – 17:30pm.

Location: London & Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite.
