Administrator Band 4

£31,537 – £34,303 (per annum pro rata)

Pharmacy Department, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

32 hrs per week, Monday – Friday

Fixed Term 18 months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and organised Medicines Administrator to join our Pharmacy Team. The Clinical Pharmacy Cancer Team currently require an Administrator to provide support for Homecare Services.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to medicines management and pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, efficient and effective coordination of medicines-related processes Working closely with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nursing staff and wider multidisciplinary teams, you will support medicine governance activities, maintain accurate records and databases, coordinate meetings and audits, and assist with service improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and time management skills, good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent IT skills. The successful applicant, will be self-motivated, have the ability to work within a team, on their own initiative and with minimal supervision. Although NHS experience is desirable this is not essential.
