Tobacco Dependency Advisor - Substance Use at Middlesbrough Council in Middlesbrough

About the role

We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Health as a Tobacco Dependency Advisor (TDA) Substance Use.

Smoke-Free South Tees is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Specialist Stop Smoking Practitioner to lead the delivery of smoking cessation support for individuals accessing substance use treatment services across South Tees.

Smoking remains one of the largest contributors to poor health and premature mortality amongst people receiving treatment for drug and alcohol dependency.

This newly developed role provides an exciting opportunity to work directly with an underrepresented population group, helping individuals reduce tobacco-related harm and achieve lasting behaviour change. If you are passionate about supporting positive change within our communities then this could be the role for you.

If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!

If you would like to talk through this opportunity further, please contact John Stephenson by email at John_Stephenson@middlesbrough.gov.uk
