Are you a caring, enthusiastic Early Years Educator looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference to children's lives?
At Barleylands Farm Day Nursery, children don't just learn inside four walls. Based at the award-winning Barleylands Farm, our children enjoy nature-based play, outdoor learning and opportunities to explore, discover and develop their curiosity every day.
We're looking for a passionate Early Years Educator to join our Toddler team, working three days a week. If you're a positive team player who loves working with young children and wants to be part of a nursery that's genuinely different, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Working Pattern
27 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday & Friday
This consistent three-day pattern could be ideal if you're looking for a part-time Early Years role that gives you a good balance between work and home life.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Early Years Educator, you'll:
✔ Build warm, positive relationships with children and their families.
✔ Support children's learning and development through play and exploration.
✔ Create exciting activities based around children's interests and curiosity.
✔ Make the most of our unique outdoor and nature-based environment.
✔ Help children develop confidence, independence and new skills.
✔ Work closely with your team to provide outstanding care and education.
✔ Bring enthusiasm, creativity and new ideas to everyday life in the nursery.
What We're Looking For
You'll have:
✔ A recognised Early Years qualification – Level 2, Level 3 or above.
✔ Previous childcare experience, ideally within a day nursery setting.
✔ A genuine passion for Early Years education.
✔ A caring, positive and enthusiastic approach.
✔ Good communication and teamwork skills.
✔ A reliable and flexible approach.
