We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join our team and help ensure every vehicle is accurately assessed and efficiently processed for repair.

What Youll Be Doing

Lead, support and manage a team of Vehicle Damage Assessors, ensuring high standards of performance and customer service.

Oversee the assessment of vehicle damage and ensure accurate, cost-effective repair estimates are produced.

Review and quality-check estimates to ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with manufacturer and industry standards.

Monitor team performance, workload and productivity, ensuring assessments are completed within agreed timescales.

Provide guidance and technical support to Assessors on complex or challenging damage assessments and repair methods.

Liaise with customers, insurers, repairers and other stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure a smooth repair process.

Monitor repair progress and ensure any additional damage or changes are assessed and authorised appropriately.

Coach, mentor and develop team members, identifying training needs and supporting continuous improvement.

Ensure all assessments, estimates and documentation are completed accurately and in line with company procedures and relevant legislation.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and quality across the damage assessment function.

Promote a positive team culture, maintaining high standards of professionalism, communication and health and safety.

• What Were Looking For
• Proven experience in a VDA/Estimator role within the accident repair industry
• ATA VDA accreditation (or working towards it)
• Proficiency with Audatex and other estimating platforms
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A detail-oriented individual who values accuracy, efficiency, and professional integrity
