Managing Employee Mental Health During Mergers

We've just gone through a big merger at our company and I am seeing a lot of anxiety among my team members, we have had a few people leave already. I do not know how to support them as their manager, as the changes are coming from higher up and I do not have all the information myself. As someone who's been in this role for a while, I want to know what strategies other companies are using to manage employee mental health during mergers, especially when it comes to communication and transparency. How are you handling this in your own organizations, are there any best practices we could learn from?
