The Remote Work Security Risk We Can't Shake

Our company's remote work policy is causing a LOT of stress for our IT team, we have had a few instances of sensitive data being accessed from unsecured networks, and it's getting to the point where we're considering a complete overhaul of our cybersecurity protocols. We've tried to educate our employees on the risks, but it's clear that some people do not take it seriously, and it's putting our entire business at risk. As someone who's both an employee and an employer, I'm torn between giving people the flexibility they want and keeping our company's data safe, so I'm wondering how others are handling this issue. What measures are you taking to balance remote work flexibility with data security concerns?
