Slack’s workflow caps stir remote team pushback

Since Slack introduced the new workflow caps in early June, our engineering pods have been stuck filing separate tickets for every channel rename. We've lost sprint capacity to the extra admin work and our lead devs keep saying the change feels like micromanagement of a distributed crew. Has anyone found a way to negotiate exemptions with the platform team, or are we expected to redesign our whole communication model?
