SAP's latest updates are causing a stir in finance teams, and I'm getting anxious about meeting our Q3 targets, given the current burnout levels. We've got staff taking unplanned leaves, and they're citing exhaustion from dealing with SAP's new interface, which they're finding overly complex. As someone who's worked in finance for years, I've never seen morale this low, and I'm worried it'll impact our ability to close the quarter strong. What strategies can employers like myself use to mitigate burnout in finance teams struggling with SAP updates?

I've been there too, and I have to admit we made a similar mistake last year when we rolled out a new ERP system without giving our team enough training. We assumed they'd pick it up quickly, but it ended up taking them months to get comfortable with it, and we saw a big spike in errors as a result. Now we're using a tool like WalkMe to help with the onboarding process, and it's been a huge help, so I'd definitely recommend looking into something like that to support your team.

Given the current situation, I am concerned that we cannot rule out the possibility of data errors creeping in due to staff fatigue, which could have serious implications for our financial reporting. We have invested heavily in SAP, but if our teams are struggling to use it effectively, we need to think about providing additional training or support to get them up to speed. I've heard that some companies are using tools like Excelerator to help with SAP integration, so maybe we should look into something like that to help alleviate some of the pressure on our finance teams.
