  • Description

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about social media, digital culture and creating content that people actually want to watch and share.

At GBM, we take pride in what we do and make sure that client's needs are met while considering the needs and wants of our nurtured communities/audiences.

Apprentify are hiring on behalf of our client.

GBM is a social-first creative powerhouse that acts as both a publisher and an agency built for how young audiences actually consume content today: fast, native and culture-led.

We have numerous pages including Great British Memes, That Girl Page, That Student Page and MORE, which across all social channels reach over 500 million every month. The vast majority of our social following also comes from within our home market - the UK.

This role is focused on producing engaging, relatable content and may include supporting retained clients, branded campaigns and internal creative projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside experienced members of the team and learn how a large social publisher operates across multiple platforms and communities.

Entry requirements

  • A minimum of grade 4/C or above in Maths & English at GCSE level (or equivalent)
  • A clear and evidenceable interest in social media, content and digital culture
  • A positive, can-do attidue and willingness to learn
  • Someone who is naturally curious about what is trending and why content works
  • Experience using social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Reddit
  • Any experience with long-form content, video editing or production would be a bonus, but is not essential
  • Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes the internet

You might not have years of experience, and that’s completely fine. What matters is that you understand social media, have a good eye for content, are eager to learn and aren’t afraid to get stuck in.

Training to be provided

You will embark upon a Content Creator training programme, delivered by The Juice Academy (part of the Apprentify Group), one of the UK's leading creative training providers.

Build the content capability to engage audiences and strengthen your brand:

High-quality content is central to how organisations attract, engage, and retain customers. The Content Creator Level 3 Apprenticeship equips employees with the skills and knowledge required to plan, produce, and evaluate content that supports marketing objectives and drives measurable engagement.

Designed for organisations developing in-house creative capability, this programme builds a strong foundation across content strategy, production, and performance. Learners gain hands-on experience creating written, visual, and audio content, ensuring they can contribute to consistent, on-brand communication across multiple channels.

Build practical content creation skills across your organisation:

Unlike basic content training, this programme focuses on real-world application and business impact. Through structured learning and workplace-based practice, employees learn to interpret briefs, align content with brand objectives, and produce engaging assets tailored to specific audiences.

By the end of the programme, learners are equipped to manage the end-to-end content process, from planning and creation through to distribution and performance evaluation.

Programme overview:
