What Youll Receive: From £14.50 per hour + additional for overnight shifts if required.

You will build trusting, positive relationships with children and young people, support daily routines such as school runs and mealtimes, help children learn life skills and build their independence, work as part of a team to ensure children feel safe, secure, and cared for, support with care plans, handle challenging behavior calmly and with empathy using a therapeutic approach, and take part in fun, active days.

Flexibility is essential.

Be part of the sleep-in rota, (flexibility is essential) About You Were looking for people who are caring, reliable, and motivated to make a difference. You dont need experience as full training and ongoing support are provided.

You will: Have a genuine interest in supporting children with complex needs Be patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent Be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins Be able to meet the roles practical and emotional demands Have a positive attitude and a team-player mindset Hold or be committed to completing NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Residential Childcare Hold a driving licence (dual registered home across 2 sites in Wimborne) so travel to both homes may be required.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. This role is also subject to enhanced DBS checks and comprehensive vetting procedures in line with safer recruitment standards.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential You dont need experience as full training and ongoing support are provided. Hold or be committed to completing NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Residential Childcare. Hold a driving licence.
