Main duties of the job You will play an integral role within the nursing team, providing essential support to registered staff in delivering high-quality, individualised, and compassionate care to patients.

You will be responsible for delivering personal and clinical care to a high standard, including undertaking clinical observations and carrying out delegated interventions as directed by a registered practitioner, in line with your skills, training, and competencies.

Qualifications

Essential Educated to Vocational Qualification/NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or health related topic or equivalent level of experience Holds 16 Standards National Care Certificate (face to face) or equivalent level of education, training or experience Holds Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English or education equivalent (GCSE) Desirable Speciality specific training and competencies achieved and ongoing development Knowledge and Experience Essential Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in an healthcare, social care organisation/setting or service industry requiring people contact Knowledge of infection prevention & control and safeguarding processes Experience of working in a healthcare team and patient setting Desirable Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a NHS organisation Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
