Main duties of the job You'll work with people experiencing substance use problems across Accident and Emergency and inpatient wards, providing: Advice, information and brief interventions Assessments of risk and need Support to engage with specialist substance misuse treatment Practical, person-centred interventions that encourage positive change Collaborative working with hospital colleagues and wider services.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential You should have relevant experience in the substance misuse field and hold a relevant qualification, such as: A degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or a related subject or Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent Level 3 Tackling Substance Misuse qualification or equivalent Newly qualified Social Workers are welcome to apply we support the ASYE programme.
