Job summary

We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Medical Director – ENT Services to provide strategic clinical leadership across our growing ENT service.

Main duties of the job As Medical Director, you will work closely with operational and clinical leaders to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based ENT services.

You will provide professional leadership to Consultant ENT Surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, oversee clinical governance and quality improvement, and support the development and expansion of our services across community and outpatient settings.

Role: Medical Director – ENT Services Location: Remote, with travel across service locations as required Part time Competitive salary/package, dependent on experience We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Medical Director – ENT Services to provide strategic clinical leadership across our growing ENT service.

As Medical Director, you will work closely with operational and clinical leaders to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and evidence-based ENT services.

You will provide professional leadership to Consultant ENT Surgeons and multidisciplinary teams, oversee clinical governance and quality improvement, and support the development and expansion of our services across community and outpatient settings.

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise Entry on the GMC Specialist Register in Otolaryngology (ENT) FRCS (ORL-HNS) or equivalent specialist qualification Substantive experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon Demonstrable experience in clinical leadership and service development Strong understanding of clinical governance, audit and quality improvement Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care Experience working within NHS or independent healthcare services

Qualifications
