Mobile Cleaner

We have an opportunity for you to join North Yorkshire Council working as part of our mobile cleaning team. You will be covering 3 schools in the Darlington Area.

The Role

Our mobile team provide cover within our schools, offices, and corporate buildings. Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner is a varied, challenging role in which flexibility and teamwork are essential skills.

Your working day will start at approximately 15:00pm, where you pick up/ be picked up by the other mobile cleaners at a home address or a mutually agreed location.

Working for NYC as a mobile cleaner, you will be responsible for the cleaning duties on site including dusting, vacuuming and the cleaning of sanitary fittings.

Full training will be provided , and the hours will total 30 hours per week over 5 days. 

Depending on workload, you may be required to work beyond this, for which you will be paid accordingly.

For this you will be paid  £13.28 per hour with no weekend work!  

During school holidays, the work times will be predominately during the day, to deep clean schools involving a further range of tasks such as scrubbing floors and carpet cleaning.

A UK Driving license is essential and you will be provided with a works vehicle with all expenses (fuel etc) covered.
