We have a new and exciting permanent opportunity as a Technical & Capital Accounting Specialist.
Job description
As a Technical & Capital Accounting Specialist, you will be required to support the Senior Technical Accountant in ensuring that systems of financial discipline, integrity and control are maintained to the highest professional standards expected of a major financial service organisation. You will deliver technical accounting support for SLC’s Enable Programme, ensuring full compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies. Alongside this you will be required to support the statutory requirements of SLC ensuring timely accurate returns to various stakeholders and support and deputise for the Senior Technical Accountant in answering accounting queries from internal and external auditors and from across the business.
Person specification
- Extensive technical knowledge of IFRS.
- Extensive analytical skills allied with the ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant or part-qualified with experience.
