Spire Harpenden Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our physio team on a bank basis. This is a flexible, ad-hoc role supporting the inpatient physiotherapy service, working with post-operative patients to help prepare them for discharge home.

Physiotherapist | Harpenden | AdHoc Shifts | Bank Contract Spire Harpenden Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our physio team on a bank basis.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc role supporting the inpatient physiotherapy service, working with post-operative patients to help prepare them for discharge home. We are particularly interested in Physiotherapists who are confident working across both inpatient and outpatient services.
This role requires flexibility to support post-operative inpatients on the ward as well as patients attending the outpatient physiotherapy department, making it ideal for a truly rotational Physiotherapist.
The Role - Deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice to inpatient and outpatient patients - Manage your own clinical caseload as an autonomous practitioner - Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and rehabilitation - Provide safe and effective post-operative physiotherapy care - Support inpatient services as required What We're Looking For - Degree qualified Physiotherapist (BSc Hons or equivalent) - Current HCPC registration with no restrictions - Previous post-graduate physiotherapy experience within an NHS or private hospital setting - Experience working across both inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services is highly desirable - Experience assessing, diagnosing and treating a varied caseload - Strong communication and organisational skills - Flexible approach to working patterns and clinical areas - Availability to work at least 1-2 shifts a week
Working Hours:
Pattern of work would be weekdays and/or weekends, on average 8am-5pm

Essential Degree qualified Physiotherapist (BSc Hons or equivalent) Experience Essential Previous post-graduate physiotherapy experience within an NHS or private hospital setting Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
