Chief Executive Officer
Chief Executive Officer at Creative Scotland in Edinburgh, Scotland
About the role
- Chief Executive Officer
- Edinburgh, Scotland
- Salary: Starting from £133,551
- CEO Creative Scotland / Alba Chruthachail
Creativity is central to Scotland’s identity, wellbeing and economic future. At Creative Scotland – inclusive of Screen Scotland – we invest public funding from the Scottish Government and The National Lottery to ensure the arts, screen and creative industries flourish in every part of the country.
As the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the organisation and work with a broad spectrum of people and organisations, helping ensure Scotland’s continued growth as a creative and culturally vibrant nation.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the operational and strategic delivery of one of Scotland’s most influential public bodies.
We’re seeking an inspirational and visionary leader, who understands Scotland’s unique cultural landscape and who can set and deliver the current and long-term goals, meeting any challenges that arise.
You will be equally skilled in the running of a complex organisation, meeting the public finance responsibilities of an Accountable Officer, developing its capacity and motivating its staff. You will be engaging with, and building the trust of, the creative and cultural sectors and those the organisation is designed to support.
If Creative Scotland’s future excites you as much as it does us, then we’d like to speak to you.
