Clinical Site Coordinators Can you provide provides visible, credible clinical and operational support across your designated inpatient services?
Salary: £43,927 - £46,500 plus £1,250 Essex Allowance, plus enhancements
The role
You will provide visible, credible clinical and operational support to ensure patients receive safe, high quality, least restrictive care over our 24/7 clinical operations.
You will oversee ward practice, staffing, incident management, and regulatory compliance, while supporting nursing teams and maintaining robust communication and handovers over our 24/7 clinical operations. You will monitor patient safety, uphold professional standards, and ensure effective coordination across services.
In this role you will safeguard the patient experience and ensure operations align with St Andrews values, policies, and clinical governance requirements as well as being Duty Manager on Call whilst you are on shift and site.

About you
You will be experienced in managing clinical staff at ward level on a shift-by-shift basis and must have held the position of Deputy Ward Manager (DWM) / Clinical Nurse Lead (CNL) or above for at least 6 months. You will hold a current NMC registration and a degree in Mental Health, Learning Disability or Adult Nursing or equivalent.
You must have the ability to work flexible shift patterns as required. You must be able to identify and lead during a medical emergency or incident calmly with confidence and clear leadership and have high levels of resilience and confidence when faced with challenging clinical situations.
You will be able to demonstrate substantial experience in making clinical and operational decisions and. You must have an ability to analyse and interpret the Staffing Dashboard and be able to gather and interpret information and data concisely and accurately and report/escalate as required.
The role will predominantly work days but will be required to work nights at times when needed. Nights and weekends worked will be paid an enhancement too. You will also be a role model for the St Andrews CARE values and the pillars of our Leadership Commitment including compassionate, person-centred care.
