Join our Lifelong Learning team and help adults build skills, confidence and opportunities through high-quality education!

The Lifelong Learning team delivers a wide-ranging adult education programme across the borough. We work with learners from diverse backgrounds, supporting them to develop practical skills for everyday life, work, and further study.

Due to an expansion of our service, we are seeking enthusiastic part-time tutors who can deliver one or more of the following subject areas. Delivery will be face-to-face within the Wandsworth borough.

  • ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages)
  • Employability
  • Digital Skills

About the role

Plan and deliver inclusive, high-quality teaching that meets the needs of adult learners.

Prepare lesson materials and learning activities aligned to course outcomes.

Assess learner progress, provide constructive feedback, and support learners to achieve their goals.

Maintain accurate registers and learner records in line with service requirements.

Promote a safe, supportive learning environment and follow relevant safeguarding and policies.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Experience in delivering teaching / training to adult learners in the UK.

A relevant UK teaching qualification (or equivalent) appropriate to the subject area.

Experience delivering ESOL and / or employability programmes, with appropriate sector knowledge and evidence of recent CPD and / or related qualifications.
