Job summary

At Spire Nottingham Hospital, we're looking for a Scrub Nurse or ODP to join our high-performing theatre team on a bank basis.

Main duties of the job You'll play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative care, including: * Scrubbing for a range of orthopaedic procedures (e.g. joint replacements, arthroscopy, and minor procedures) * Supporting the theatre team across the perioperative pathway * Preparing equipment and ensuring theatres are safe and compliant * Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and wider MDT * Contributing to clinical quality, governance, and continuous improvement * Supporting junior staff and contributing to a positive team culture

Perioperative Practitioner | Nottingham | Tollerton | Bank | Flexible Shifts At Spire Nottingham Hospital, we're looking for a Scrub Nurse or ODP to join our high-performing theatre team on a bank basis.

You'll be part of a supportive environment delivering a wide range of orthopaedic procedures, working alongside experienced consultants and multidisciplinary teams. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a well-equipped private hospital setting, with a strong focus on quality care, efficiency, and patient experience.

The Role

What We're Looking For:

Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner Experience working in theatre, ideally in an orthopaedic setting Strong clinical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team A proactive, patient-focused approach Commitment to maintaining high clinical standards Desirable: Orthopaedic scrub experience Private healthcare experience
