Are you passionate about social media and looking to build your skills in a meaningful organisation?
RNIB is looking for a Social Media Assistant to support our online presence across a range of social media platforms for a short term placement. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience creating content, engaging with audiences and helping promote RNIB's work to people affected by sight loss.
During the placement, you'll help create and schedule social media content, monitor trends and conversations, support community management activities and analyse the performance of campaigns. You'll also contribute creative ideas, undertake research and help ensure all content aligns with RNIB's brand and accessibility standards.

You should be organised, creative, proactive and comfortable managing multiple tasks. Experience using Microsoft Office and social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer or Sprout would be beneficial.
Knowledge of digital accessibility, content creation tools such as Canva or CapCut, and social media analytics is desirable, but training will be provided.

We offer a wide range of benefits including 27 days of holiday per year (plus bank holidays) which rises with service, enhanced family friendly benefits, a contributory pension scheme with an employer contribution of up to 11% and a rewards platform with employee discounts across over 800 retailers.
