Senior Clinical Support Worker

Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and proactive health care assistant to join the diabetes ward C15 The role includes supporting trained nursing staff with patient assessment and management while delivering high standards of care.

The role is fast paced and requires excellent communication skills along with a team working attitude.

Main duties of the job The successful applicant would provide support to clinicians in supporting assessments undertaking simple clinical and therapeutic procedures such as taking clinical observations, obtaining samples, catheter care and venipuncture as well as responding to ad hoc care requests from patients and other members of the MDT.
