Job Description

Flourish Education are looking for an ICT Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Solihull. This is a long-term supply opportunity starting in September 2026 and continuing through to July 2027.

The successful ICT Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will help pupils develop their digital skills, knowledge and confidence, whilst supporting them to understand how technology is used in education, work and everyday life.

You will be joining a supportive school environment with a strong focus on teaching and learning. The role would suit an experienced ICT Teacher or an ECT with a relevant teaching qualification and strong subject knowledge.

Job Role

• Deliver engaging ICT lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and teach lessons that develop pupils' digital and technical skills
• Cover a range of ICT and Computing topics in line with the school curriculum
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Manage behaviour effectively and consistently
• Assess and monitor pupil progress
• Provide constructive feedback to support pupil development
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Support the wider aims and expectations of the secondary school

Required Skills and Experience

• ICT Teacher, Computing Teacher, Computer Science Teacher, ICT ECT, Computing ECT, Secondary Teacher or Supply Teacher
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Strong subject knowledge across ICT and Computing
• Good understanding of the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Confident using a range of digital technologies and software
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to deliver engaging and accessible lessons
• Reliable and professional approach to teaching
