A growing offshore and energy services organisation is seeking an Operations Administrator to join its team in South Aberdeenshire. Supporting both Projects and Operations, you'll be involved in a diverse range of activities including administration, document control, stakeholder coordination and project support. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to develop their career within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Main Duties:
- Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for operational and project personnel
- Preparing reports, workshop routings, document packs and general business documentation
- Supporting project teams by obtaining supplier quotations and pricing information
- Raising requisitions and quotation references in line with project requirements
- Maintaining accurate project records and ensuring documentation is correctly stored and updated
- Providing document control support to ensure information is managed effectively and compliantly
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas and recording meeting minutes
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and third-party providers to support project and operational activities
- Assisting with the expediting of materials and services through effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing general administrative support and acting as a key point of contact for enquiries via phone and email
Applicants Require:
- Previous experience within an administrative, operations support, project support or document control environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting business operations
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A professional, reliable and ethical approach to work
