Our client is expanding their team and is looking for a Customer Sales Assistant to support nationally recognised health, care, and children's charity campaigns throughout Brighton and surrounding areas.
This is a customer-facing trainee role where you'll build valuable communication and sales skills while representing campaigns through live events, brand activations, community outreach, and business engagement. About the Role
You'll represent campaigns across three main channels:
Live Events & Brand Activations
Working at pop-up events, shopping centres, and busy public locations, you'll:
- Engage members of the public through professional face-to-face conversations.
- Explain charity initiatives and how ongoing support funds healthcare, family services, research, and children's programmes.
- Share the real-world impact of long-term support.
- Guide supporters through a simple, transparent registration process.
Community Campaigns
You'll also take part in organised outreach by:
- Raising awareness of local and national charity initiatives.
- Explaining how regular contributions support essential programmes.
- Answering questions honestly and accurately.
- Recording supporter information using digital systems.
Business Outreach
Some campaigns involve introducing local businesses to opportunities such as:
- Workplace giving programmes.
- Staff fundraising initiatives.
- Charity awareness partnerships.
Where appropriate, you'll introduce opportunities before referring interested businesses to senior campaign leaders.
Your Day-to-Day
- Attend daily campaign briefings and training.
- Work collaboratively across Brighton and surrounding areas.
- Communicate confidently with members of the public and local businesses.
- Follow fundraising compliance and safeguarding procedures.
- Complete accurate reporting and supporter documentation.
- Represent every campaign with professionalism and integrity.
