Combined Dental Nurse/ Receptionist Position

Job Title: Dental Nurse/Receptionist

Seeking dental nurse with reception duties for a mixed NHS/private dental practice in Comber. This job will be a full time combined welcome team and nursing role.

As a member of our nursing team, your main duties will include assisting the dentist and hygienist. Your role will involve chair side nursing, taking and developing x-rays and sterilisation of instruments.

As a member of our Welcome Team, your main duties will include telephone duties, managing appointment bookings, liaising with patients, processing payments, administration, handling queries, word processing and filing.

This role requires a motivated individual who can work well in a team, has sound organisational abilities, excellent interpersonal skills who can show empathy to patients and can work efficiently. Experience is essential and requires NEBDN qualification.

Essential Criteria:

• NEBDN/City & Guilds dental nursing qualification
• Applicants must have a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above including English and Maths.
• IT literate
• Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Proficiency in IT systems for managing appointments and patient records
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and team members
• Fluency in English is required

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience using Exact/SOE dental software
