Sales & Warehouse Person Required

Devlin Wholesale – Groby, Leicester

£30,000+ per annum, including salary and commission

Devlin Wholesale is a successful, long-established family business specialising in carpets and flooring. We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and customer-focused person to join our team at our Groby store.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining showroom sales, customer service and warehouse duties.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers and providing professional sales advice
• Helping customers select suitable carpets and flooring
• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders
• Handling telephone and showroom enquiries
• Receiving, checking and organising stock
• Cutting, moving and loading carpets and flooring
• Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organised showroom and warehouse
• Assisting with the day-to-day operation and development of the store

The successful applicant should be:

• Confident, friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
• Sales-minded and motivated to achieve targets
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a small team
• Physically capable of carrying out warehouse duties
• Organised and attentive to detail
• Willing to learn about carpets and flooring

Previous experience in flooring, furniture, retail sales, warehousing or a similar trade environment would be advantageous, although full product training will be provided.

A full UK driving licence would also be beneficial.

Package:

• Salary and commission package of £30,000+ per annum
