Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant hospitality environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in restaurant, hotel, or culinary management to lead a team in delivering outstanding experiences to our guests.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and efficiency.
  • Manage team schedules, organise shifts, and ensure adequate staffing levels during service hours.
  • Enforce food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the establishment.
  • Assist with food production when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for new staff members and ongoing development for existing team members.
  • Collaborate with management on menu planning, stock control, and overall operational improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation at all times.

Experience

  • Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
  • Previous experience in food safety management and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Familiarity with food production processes and restaurant service procedures.
  • Experience in team management, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff members.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry practices gained through roles such as hotel or barista experience is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: £31,000.00-£35,000.00 per hour
